Yoga in Nature: Croatia’s Coastal Serenity

Yoga, Croatia, Nature, Sea, Island

Highlights of this trip

Join us for a 5-day Yoga in Nature Retreat hosted by Home of Yoga and MOYO Nature Training, on the breathtaking island of Hvar in Croatia.

Nestled in the peaceful 12th-century village of Dol Sveta Ana, surrounded by pine forests, ancient stone houses, and the calming breeze of the Adriatic Sea, this retreat offers a unique opportunity to reconnect with yourself, others, and the natural world.

Each morning begins with a sunrise yoga session, held either on a scenic terrace or in a peaceful indoor studio. Rooted in Vinyasa and Hatha traditions, the daily yoga practice focuses on different areas of the body such as your core, hips, shoulders, or back. In the afternoons, you’ll take part in themed workshops that help you safely explore posture progressions – including optional inversions like headstands – guided by experienced teachers.

Beyond yoga, this retreat invites you to explore the rich landscape and culture of Hvar through daily outings to beaches, hidden nature spots, and historic towns. In the evenings after a relaxing yoga class, we gather for meaningful conversations, yoga philosophy, stargazing, and moments of shared reflection.

Highlights:

  • Daily sunrise yoga (Vinyasa & Hatha) on the terrace or in the studio

  • Themed workshops focusing on specific body areas & posture progressions

  • Optional inversions & advanced poses in a safe, supportive setting

  • Evening sessions with relaxing yoga, yoga philosophy, nature-positive talks & stargazing

  • Daily cultural & nature-based excursions around the island

  • Freshly prepared vegetarian breakfast and dinner using local organic produce
