Our Nature Positive tourism training program

MOYO Training Foundation offers learning journeys that support people who want to be part of a more regenerative tourism future. Our programs combine knowledge, reflection, and real-world experience, and encourage participants to actively contribute to positive change within the tourism sector.

They are designed for:

  • nature and wildlife guides
  • tourism professionals and entrepreneurs
  • tourism business & destination managers
  • people who feel called to do tourism differently

 

There is currently a waiting list for subsidised places for our NPT programs. Please contact us if you’d like to be included in this list. Some of our rewilding retreats also offer educational components.

Nature Positive Tourism – Online Training

This online training introduces the foundations of Nature Positive Tourism in a practical and accessible way. It creates a shared understanding and a strong base for further learning.

Participants explore:

  • the relationship between tourism, nature, and biodiversity
  • what “nature positive” means in real tourism contexts
  • how tourism businesses can contribute to ecosystem recovery
  • working respectfully with local communities
  • first steps toward nature positive products and practices

This program is ideal for those who want clarity, inspiration, and practical direction – whether they are just starting out or already working in tourism.  

Nature Positive Tourism – Field Training (Italy)

The Field Training brings learning into nature. Set in Abruzzo National Park in Italy, this five-day immersive program allows participants to experience Nature Positive Tourism in practice.

The training includes:

  • outdoor learning sessions and facilitated discussions
  • field visits and local case studies
  • conversations with local guides and tourism entrepreneurs
  • exposure to conservation and rewilding initiatives
  • space for reflection and peer learning
